Salam aleykoum,
Until the hair of a newborn baby is shaved, do we have to renew the ablutions every time we touch the hair even though the baby has been washed? I was told that the hair is not clean and that i have to renew my ablutions every time i touch the hair. Is this true?

Essalamu Alaikum,
Touching newborn’s hair and even his/her private parts is something that almost all people have to go through and if it were to nullify ablution it would cause great hardship. And if it did nullify ablution, this would have been well-known among the Companions and those who came afterwards.
