Is it necessary to perform tashahhud during Salat. Some say it is not necessary. Please advise.
Answer:
Tashahhud is necessary. It is wajib, both in the first sitting and in the final sitting. If omitted out of forgetfulness, forgetfulness sajdah is necessary. It is unacceptable to omit tashahhud intentionally.
