Assalam u alayekum !
Does the act of giving blood as a sample for blood test invalidate the fast (when the quantity of blood is relatively small i.e. up to half or 3 quarter of a test tube)?And if a person donates blood to some other person or blood bank ,while fasting ,does this invalidate his fast?

Giving up blood sample or donating blood while fasting as you have mentioned, does not invalidate the fast.
