What Ibn Kathir considered authentic is what he mentioned in his Tafsir as narrated from Abu Dawud in his Sunan from Abu Darda’: “Whoever recites, upon rising in the morning and going to bed at night, Hasbiya Allahu la ilaha illa Hu, `alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbu al-`arsh al-`azhim seven times, Allah shall suffice him his every concern.”
روى أبو داود ، عن يزيد بن محمد ، عن عبد الرزاق بن عمر – وقال : كان من ثقات المسلمين من المتعبدين ، عن مدرك بن سعد – قال يزيد : شيخ ثقة – عن يونس بن ميسرة ، عن أم الدرداء ، عن أبي الدرداء قال : من قال إذا أصبح وإذا أمسى : حسبي الله لا إله إلا هو ، عليه توكلت ، وهو رب العرش العظيم ، سبع مرات ، إلا كفاه الله ما أهمه .
Ibn `Aqila in the chapter on the special properties of Surat Bara’a (Surat at-Tawba) in volume 2 of al-Ziyada wal-Ihsan states: “Fa’in tawallaw… to the end of the Sura:
this verse is to soften the hearts of those who turn away towards the one whom they turn away from, and to block the reach of would-be harmers. Whoever recites it in the night before Jumua thirty times, saying at the end of each time: Anta hasbi ya Rabbi `ala Fulan ibn Fulana, a`tif qalbahu `alayya wa dhallilhu lee (You are enough for me O my Lord against So-and-so son of [his mother], make his heart tender towards me and docile for me), Allah will give him that.”

Do not wait any further. Both of you should make time and effort to have more intimacy as it is a vast part of marriage especially for newlyweds. It is fine to initiate intimacy on your part.

Salaam. I would like Shaykh Hishams advice. What should i do when a husband allows his friend/boss to use filthy language to his wife and threatened to break her legs whilst the husband did not say a word but hold the friend nicely. Is this reason to divorce?

Alaykum Salam,
If this is a life-threatening situation where, for example, the boss is a gangster or wields financial threats, the position of the husband might be that of someone coerced, and the divorce of the coerced does not take effect. Let the married couple communicate peacefully and lovingly to remove that element from their life as it is not their friend at all.

Working for a haram enterprise guarantees you will suffer regardless of appearances to the contrary. If you accepted it already do your best to protect yourself and your dependents from the fire by finding something else, anything, post-haste.

Asking a woman when she will have more kids. Asking a man a personal question. Asking questions which will hurt the person.Many people ask me personal questions and if I ask them to leave it.They get mad at me as if I was the rude one. I am confused.
Answer:
It is mostly a lack of adab and might be a sin if the intention is to pry or gossip. Ask them the same or say Allah knows best or ask them what their point is and develop a thick skin. Imam al-Shafii, whenever someone asked him what his age was, would reply: Get to the point.
