The man I intend to marry (his name is [private], please hide his name) says if money is spent on the house, it can be redecorated to look great. Then the conversation turns to mine & [private]’s relationship. His dad says that [private]’s is not super rich (in reality he has his own business & is doing well) so he worries that after marriage I may become dissatisfied if for example he can’t buy a BMW car for me. I reassure his dad that I love [private]’s for his heart & if wealth was my concern I would have looked elsewhere for an alliance & wouldn’t be sat here right now. [Private]’s dad looks pleased & smiles at me. Then my mum sits next to his dad & explains that my daughter (me) has a skin problem (in reality I do have a genetic skin condition) & that my Dad said to her that it may cause huge problems so she’s worried about that being an issue. His Dad says that [private]’s fine with it & respects that so its not an issue if his son has no problem with it. His dad smiles again & all four of us are happy & begin to smile. I realize that our engagement is about to be fixed & we are overwhelmed with happiness. My mum leaves the room in excitement and [private] laughs that she’s gone to tell her sister (my aunt) the good news. [Private]’s dad opens a calendar looking at dates for our marriage I presume, he says today is not an auspicious day for fixing dates for a happy event though so we’ll look for another appropriate date. The strange thing is when I look up I see a strange ugly black man standing at the corner of the room. I feel confused about who he is & say to myself that I’m going to marry [private], not this strange man. Suddenly that ugly man disappears. I look at [private]’s dad & he seems extremely happy & says finally the sounds of ghungroos (small metallic balls/bells strung to anklets that are tied to feet & produce music when one moves) will be heard in their house. [Private] then sits next to me & we both are overjoyed & feel shy at the same time. Then my dad comes & we give him the good news & he is surprised & dream ends. Please kindly interpret, Im eternally grateful to eShaykh for helping me with my various trials.

InshaAllah your dream is very clear and points to good signs. You should pray istikhara and ask shaykh for advice on marriage. The dark man you saw in the dream represents the obstacles and whisperings standing in the way of this union. The fact that it disappeared when you ignored it affirms that it’s from Iblees and one should proceed with reliance upon Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala unless there is a cause in the person they’re trying to marry that contradicts Shariʿah or something specific that the shaykh mentions.

I had a dream or i was hearing voices of me debating and discussing with wahhabis about Allah`s Attributes and aqidah issues even though i have no knowledge of this stuff at the present time.

Seek knowledge for the sake of practice and your own sincerity rather than debating others. The times need those who embody knowledge more than debaters.

A green parrot comes close to me. As I try to caress it, it moves back but comes on its own n presses it’s head on my hand and later on my cheeks too while sitting on my shoulder. It climbs my head and I help it from getting entangled.

Question:

I am no more in contact with the person I love. It’s been a really long time. But I dreamt twice that he contacted me again and apologized for keeping away and cutting contacts. I dreamt the same thing once after istikhara prayer also.

Answer:

Wa `alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,

This means insha-Allah that that person’s spirit is seeking to contact you again. Perhaps this is to reconcile or simply to begin anew. You should insha-Allah make istikhara before contacting them and keep making salawat for protection and ask Allah to protect you before contacting them. The safest way is to make du’a for them abundantly!
