Dream: Office Scolding

Dream:

AOA Ya Sheikh,

I saw I am sitting in an office ( I am working woman) and I scolded a man with black beard. He doesn’t look towards me but he seemed ashamed. Next day my boss scolded me for nothing even though it was not my fault. My company is not paying my due rights in terms of contract, I am very tense these days. My boss knows I am asking my right but he is denying and delaying it for no reason. He is very religious but even then he is not fair. What should I do leave job or stick around.
Please guide and pray for me.
Jazak Allah Khairan

Interpretation:

Walaikumas salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Perhaps this dream indicates you did wrong behavior with someone before and now it is coming back to you to purify you through this trial. In any case, recite every day Astagfirullah 100x, Suratul Ikhlas 11x , Suratul Falaq 11x, Suratun Nas 11x, Suratul Fatiha 7x, ayatal Qursi 1x and then request Allah subhanahu t’ala to accept your recitation and send the rewards to Holy Prophet Rasoolullah (salallalahu alaihis salam), His respected family, His respected companions and all the friends of Allah, all in the intention to receive Allah’s protection from envy and jealousy of others.

Practically speaking if you need the job to survive then do not leave the job unless you have another better job.

Prayer Request: Old religious connections

Request:

Asalamu alaiykum,

Please I respectfully request for Mawlana Sh Nazim (may he live long), to do a little prayer for me.

I converted in 200_, and the road has been bumpy many ups and downs as I learn.

However I still feel the pull to my previous religion Tibetan Buddhism, which I realised, after great thought and meditation was not the true way. But it still pulls me, in dreams, as I seem to have a strong connection to my old teachers within the tradition.

Please can Sh. Nazim help me to dis connect, so that I can relax.

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim is praying for you in sha Allah. Increase your daily dhikr together with following the suhbas of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham on sufilive.com and in sha Allah your connection with Mawlana will grow stronger and stronger.

Dream: Fish intercepting your body

Dream:

Assalamu a’laykum.

Me, my mum & family (some we not speaking to due to issues) are together talking standing in still, clear water reaching our waist. We were all clothed. My mum was next to me when a trout swims pass my leg and suddenly tried to force itself in me from behind. I quickly grabbed and threw it back in water but it rushed again trying to force its way in me from my behind. This time it went in but half was still exposed. I grabbed hold of it and called my mum for help but she didn’t respond as if she was frozen – she couldn’t hear me.

I felt no pain but I was scared. I pulled it out but didn’t let it go in the water as I was scared it would come for me again and I didn’t know what to do.

Interpretation:

Alaykum salam,

Fish represents a human being and its penetration (walaja) represents running away stubbornly (bal lajju fi `utuwwin wa nufur) as in Qur’an (67:21). An injustice someone is stubbornly refusing to admit is nagging at someone.

Is tayamun allowed?

Question:

Assalamu alaikum dear shaykhs. Ramadan Mubarak!

I live in a city where there is only one mosque. So, I try, as much as is possible, to pray on the right time when I’m outside home, far away from the mosque. Sometimes I find myself in places where there is water, but it is inaccessible to make full wudu (i.e. washing the feet), like my workplace, shopping centers, etc. So, my question is: in places like these, is tayamun allowed? If not, what should I do?

Thanks in advance…
Jazakallahu khairan!

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Salam,

If one fears for his life, if an enemy is nearby or if one is a prisoner, he may perform tayammum. It is also allowed if there is water but one can not get it in a safe way or fears some accusation against him if he gets it.

5- zikr when travelling to Mina and stay in Mina

6- zikr at Arafat

7- zikr when travelling yo Madina and in front on the blessed Roza

Difference in tawiz copies

Question:

Salaam alaykum,

My question is regarding the tawiz which is in general circulation, either to wear round the neck, or embroidery, badges, photos and stickers etc.

On some copies it contains the name if Sayiduna Isa alayhi salaam and on some it does not. Please can you explain the reason for this?

Also, when it is recited in Arabic, after “Ya Musta’an”, should it be recited as “Ya Allah” or Ba Allah”?

In some copies there is one dot (Ba) and in some copies there is two dots (Ya). The copy on this website has one dot:

Tawiz for Sihr

I have some old tawiz stickers which clearly have two dots.

Please can you tell me which is the correct way it should be recited. And if it is a mistake in the printing, should it be corrected?

JazakAllah khair.
Salaam alaykum.

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam

These are copyist errors. I have not seen the version with Sayyidina `Isa (as) in it. Also correct is “Ya Musta`an, Ya Allah“. In-sha-Allah we will rectify this on the website.

Killing animals/pests

Question:

Assalamoalikum warahmatullahe wabarakatuhu Ya Mashaikh!

May Allah keep us under the banner of MSN and MSH! Ameen. I apologize about my lack of adab and lack of knowledge in advance.

I know that all animals do tasbeeh of their Creator, the Mighty Allah, and it is a sin to kill any animal regardless. My question is if there are raccoon’s in our backyard who eat our vegetables is it allowed to shoot them? This would require buying a gun and then killing the animal. I am hesitant to ask this if this is allowed. Please clarify.

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Salam,

We are to follow the examples set by Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). When a cat had given birth to kittens on the Prophet’s cloak, he did not get rid of them but instead cut round the cats leaving them with a piece of his cloak as a blanket. SUBHANALLAH! It is easy to conclude from this example that the answer to your question is NO.

Desperately need advice

Question:

Salam,

I live separately from husband whose gave me talaq. He has teaching… came just talking & smoking. He says he able to “open” hidayah because he is given by Allah such a way.  He said Hajj not important, he dislike don’t believe in Awliya he said they like a condectur saying heaven but hasn’t gone there yet. He say everyone also can be like prophet Nabi Muhammed SAW, which he can teach. He don’t claim to be in such tareqat but he said he will unify all tareqat under his teaching. He never make saying to remember Allah and prophet but always talk nice as if that is words from God. He said in religion is nafsi-nafsi even we married. May Allah forgive me, I want a official divorce. He prolong process just to make me miserable. Please help me, yaa Syaikh…

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

His acts and words contradict Qur’an and Sunna so he cannot even guide himself, much less others. As for claiming that he can teach Prophethood it constitutes unbelief. Let him sign his declaration of divorce and leave him to his own devices.

Dream: Picking Roses

Dream:

assalamualaikum,

In my dream I was in a room full of roses of different sizes and colors placed of several shelves. I went round with a bucket picking the roses and I took both the big and small roses that I like, however I was followed by a man in white robe and turban and he took out certain roses especially the big ones from my bucket. I got annoyed and wanted to run out of the room but I met with another man at the door way also in white robe and turban and was smiling at me and I thought I knew him so well that I was really happy to see him. The other man then stood next to him and both seemed to know each other.

Wa alaykum asalam,.

This dream can mean that you are taking religious knowledge from two religious teachers. One is greedy and one is good.

And Allah (jj) knows best.

Mawlana shaykh taught us that Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to recite this du’a everyday morning and evening to erase a debt:

Allalhumma akhfinee bi halaalika `al haraamika waghninee bi fadlik `amman siwaak.

And Allah knows best.
