Dream: Baiyyath

Dream:

I had a dream in that, the great Muhieddeen Abdul Qadir of Jilani gave me baiyyath. Afterwards same year on the 1st of Dhul Hajj, in my mid-day nap our beloved Rasool e Kareem sallallahu alaihi wa sallam gave me baiyyath, promising many things. Also on my request they gave me their spit with howlal kauser water and I drank it, alhamdulillah. Also in one my recent dreams Seyyidathina Fathima az-Zahra radiyallahu anha, gave me a respected hair taken from their hand to keep with me, as a blessing. There are many more dreams but I’m unable to describe cause only 1 paragraph allowed. Please tell me the meanings of my dreams, jazakallahu khair!

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham said about the endless honor to see Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a dream: “Seeing the Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a dream means you will be relieved from seven difficulties in dunya and in akhirah. Also, Imam Suyuti (r) said that if you see the Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in your dream, you will see him in reality before you leave dunya! ”

Seeing Sayida Fatima-az-Zahra and Shaykh Abdul Qader Jilani (qaddasa-l-Lahu sirrah) in dreams show that you are under their spiritual protection and their heavenly guidance.

All these dreams show that you are on the right path and that you need to continue to be constant until they open more realities and secrets insh Allah.
Pray for us insh Allah.

And Allah knows best.

Shuyukh Testing People

Question:

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakaatuh,

When the shuyukh say things about people, how do we know if the shuyukh are just testing them and us or if they really mean what they say…eg, if the shuyukh say that this is a corrupt person and has a dirty heart…do we take it at face value, or look at it as a test for that person and ourselves and not hold a bad opinion or enmity towards that person?

I ask this in context of the incident Shaykh Hisham mentioned of Grandshaykh shouting Mawlana Shaykh Nazim in front of everybody and the other mureeds began thinking bad of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and took Grandshaykhs words at face value.

How do we avoid being like those mureeds, but also make sure that we are not disobeying the Shaykh by interpreting the situation wrongly?

May Allah Reward You,
Jazakallah

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

A murid has to realize when a person is trying to harm the Shaykh and dissociate from such a person forthwith. A truthful murid also needs to detect what the Shaykh considers a real fitna and unacceptable interference so that they do not contribute in fueling such a fire
against the Shaykh.

If in doubt then abstain from judgement and reflect more; however, the murid has to be on the same page with Shaykh because haqq is haqq and batil is batil. A widespread example of batil is those who misrepresent the Shaykh around the world, as described in some of the recent suhbas of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham.

When, however, Shaykh makes a rebuke involving a senior caliph similar to the incident mentioned in your question, the matter is different and those who witness it should not interfere whether outwardly or with their hearts. We keep our irrelevant interpretations to ourselves and focus on our own ego-infestation issues. As Mawlana said when lions roar
dogs keep quiet.

Our hearts are under scrutiny in any case, whether in the first scenario or the latter, and Allah knows best.

What to do with statues

Question:

We were given as gifts some Indian statues. One was made from stone which we have put outside in the shed, one is made from sandal wood and one is a head of Buddha made from wood. We were thinking of giving it to Hindus. Is it permissible or should we throw them?
Thanks

Answer:

From an incident occurred between the Prophet (s) and Umar (ra) we
conclude that it is permissible to give haram gifts to a polytheist.

Dream: Quran and prayer

Dream:

I had a dream last night where I am with my sister who is very religious mashallah and I go to her with the Quran in my hand (it appeared to be in English titles but Arabic texts) and I asked her which side of the Quran was the front. We opened it together and when I saw Surat al Fatiha I pointed to it and smiled. Before I asked I feel like I remember being naked or undressing while holding the Quran.. after I left her I went into kitchen and I started praying and my sisters son was in front of me smiling so I smiled back at him while still praying.

This dream confuses me for I’m not sure if it’s a good dream with the Quran and prayers or a bad dream with the undressing and smiling while praying…

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

It shows that you will be guided to understand the inner meanings of the Holy Qur’an. Being naked means that there is a deficiency which needs improvement and that you will have to overcome it before receiving those secrets.

And Allah knows best.

Rights of controlling inlaws

Question:

Asalaamualaikum,

My father-in-law screamed and intimidates me because my husband and me make halal decisions which he did not “Give permission for.” I keep my respect but he won’t apologize and mistreats my husband. They smile before my husband and plan against me. My husband won’t visit without me and gets conflicted.

They mistreated first daughter-in-law making her seem bad, smiling to her face, and whispering to her husband. She moved away to save her marriage. Do I have to live near them?

Is my husband obligated to obey what his parents say? How often does my husband/me have to visit (they are not sick)? Should they always always ask questions and give advice about our life? If he has older brothers who’s most responsible to parents? What are their rights from us? Is there a prayer against deceitful people?

May Allah Bless you.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Your husband is your door to Paradise and his parents are his door to Paradise.
Recite Hasbiya Allah wa ni`ma al-Wakil x100 daily and ask Allah for patience and strength.

Dream: Heaven and hell

Dream:

In my dream I witnessed zombies, bewildered evil human beings spread across a field. There was brightness in the sky and in the area also were fellow murids. We murids behaved carefully not to be noticed by zombies. Then a cave was present and murids were being guided up the cave and I knew was leading to paradise. My dream then restarted at the cave’s entrance where my cousin who was bound to hell latched to me for help knowing my safety. I tried to remain calm and at a crossway in the cave he and a former Christian manager deceived me to go the path to hell. Unaware of this I again went up the cave and witnessed evil looking beings while trying to be careful and subtle so as not to join them. The entrance to hell I didn’t enter as I retreated carefully back. I then awoke.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

It means also that in this time of confusion you need to enter the cave of safety (your heart) to be protected from the evil present within and outside you.

And Allah knows best.
