Confidence

Question:

As’Salamu ‘Alaikum Wa’Rehmatullahi Wa’Barakatuhu,

I pray you are well. I am a teenager and over the past year or so I have been finding it hard to communicate with people. I find it difficult to socialise as I lack lots of confidence. When speaking to someone face to face I get nervous and tend to not make eye contact. Ya Sheikh, this is having a huge negative impact on my life, my eyes tend to wander when conversing with family members too. Ya Sheikh, Madad. I fear it will affect me once the time comes for marriage therefore I finally found courage to ask you Sheikh. Is there something I could maybe pray? I feel something negative is taking over me, Madad JazakAllah

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

Give bayaa online with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and read your daily wazifa (see naqshbandi.org) regularly. In sha Allah you will improve.

Dream: Girl with moustache/hair above lip

Dream:

Salam,

I am looking to get married to a certain girl. I have seen her in a dream such that she has (sparse) hair above her upper lip. Please provide ta’beer for this dream.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykum As Salaam,

This dream can mean that you should make Istikhara salat before deciding to get married. Her mustache can mean very a strong will. If that will is for the deen, then she will be great in the journey toward Allah (awj). If it is toward winning arguments for her ego, then that is difficult.

And Allah (awj) knows best.

Dream: Falling into water

Dream:

Asalamualikum,

It was a dream seen by a woman..she has this same dream frequently seeing that she is falling into water (pool or river) and trying to escape but can’t. Sometimes alone and sometimes with her husband standing nearby.

What could be its interpretation?

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykumu’s’Salaam,

This dream can mean that she is not getting the help she needs from her husband. It could be financial or emotional.

And Allah (awj) knows best.

Dream: White city, Green dome, and Kabah…

Dream:

AOA, 1)Before Ramadan I saw myself in a city where everything was white then a friend calls me and I tell her that I am in Russia then I see these majestic ice mountains with water flowing beneath them covered with transparent ice also saw some females swimming in it with clothes and I was praising ALLAH for what beauty he created especially the mountains. 2)after Ramadan saw myself again in a white city my brother was with me we standing by a car another man with beard is introducing himself to me to whom I say now I know who you are then I turn left I saw the green dome of Nabawi mosque behind the buildings then I turn bit more to the left I see Khana Kabah covered in white cloth with the golden embroidery on it. JZK / Please pray for me & my children.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,

The first dream means that you will be granted to be from those who possess a clean and pure heart (the city represents your heart). The mountains represent Awliya’ullah that will guide you to this heavenly station insh Allah.

The second dream confirms the first one. It shows that you will meet and follow a real Murshid who will guide you to the Divine Presence (represented by the Ka’aba) and the present of Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) (represented by the green dome).

And Allah knows best.

What Surah to read when you making Fateha for the deceased?
What Surah to read when you making fateha for the deceased?

Question:

As salaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu,

I was wondering if you can tell me what surah to read when we have prepared food for Fateha for the deceased to send them Eesaal e Sawaab? And what surah to read when we are in the cemetery and how many times do we read them? JazakAllah Khayran.

Answer:

Wa `Alaykum Salam,

You may recite Ya-Sin, even once. If you prefer, you may also recite the Aaman ar-Rasul, Ar-Rahman and Al-Mulk.

Burning people to death

Question:

Assalamu alaykum,

It seems the shaykhs are pretty adamant that all ahadith in Bukhari are sahih. How can it be that Ali (ra) burned people as a death penalty? I have heard excuses like “Ali was not infallible.” That doesn’t cut it for me. How could a person as knowledgeable and righteous as Ali burn people? This is not an everyday mistake that we can excuse by saying something as simple as “it was a mistake on his part and we don’t apply the burning of people as a punishment.” I also don’t see how it makes sense to say that Ali (ra) made ijtihad and came to the conclusion to BURN people. This is the ijtihad of one of the most knowledgeable companions? How can it be? Why isn’t this issue dealt with more by Muslim scholars? It seems much too important to ignore.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

This is not in Sahih al-Bukhari and he did relatedly burn apostates but after execution.

Guidance

Question:

Assalam alaykum,

I have been mostly unsuccessful in obtaining things I approach. I have yet to attain a good nikah, a successful job, perform Hajj – I am in my thirties and try to hold on to my patience. I am not sure if it is not written for me or whether there is foul play. If the things I want are not written for me then Alhamdolillah. If evil eye, black magic is at play can Molana help me?

I have been standing still for most of my adulthood – whichever door I try, I find it locked. Please guide/pray for me. I supplicate to Allah Azzawajal for myself and for the health of Molana Shaykh Nazim, Inshaallah I will meet him physically. Please excuse my ignorance if I have made any mistakes.
Jazakallah.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

Mawlana is praying for you. Try to focus on your blessings and renew your thanks every day with x300 Salawat or more. Good things will come in sha Allah.
