I am a murid of Maulana. Few months ago I married a Deobandi. I wasn’t aware of this before our nikah. Whenever the topic of aqeedah arose, he always said that he too was a Sunni Hanfi follower & his beliefs are the same as mine. He showed interest in Maulana sheikh nazim & meeting them. Since we have married, I noticed differences like not too sure about Mawlid, reciting darood etc. When I talk to him about Maulana sometimes he switches off. This really upsets me. I’d love my husband to become a murid of Maulana; have the same love, respect serve them like my daughter & I have.
Please ask Maulana to make dua; enlighten his heart with the love of rasulullah SAW & Maulana sheikh Nazim & show him the right path. A sign or wisdom that’ll connect his heart with Maulana’s. JzKh

Pray for your husband that Allah open his heart. We insha-Allah pray for him and for a happy life and for you both to be strong Ahl as-Sunnah wa ‘l-Jama`ah. Deobandis are in two groups, one of them is really as they claim; accepting Mawlid and intercession and many other aspects as Ahl as-Sunnah wa ‘l-Jama`ah believe. Insha-Allah we pray for you and recite 100x Ya Halim and 100x Ya Hafizh and 100x Ya Sattar, do your awrad, and insha-Allah you will be OK.
