My question is for my friend and his wife, they have been married 2 years and Alhamdulillah his wife is pregnant with their first child. However, the doctors have informed that both of them suffer from a blood disorder called thalassemia, its ok when one parent has it but if both suffer, then there is high chances of baby being deformed, or the child having health problems later in life.
The husband has yet to take a blood test and if he is AA thalassemia then that is dominant and will counter his wife’s and there are more chances of the baby being fine, however still risky.
Ya Sayyidi, can you please make dua for the health of the baby and inshAllah babies in the future and provide something to read for blessings. Eagerlya wait your response
