A-Salaamu Alaykum Ya Sayyidi,
I am 29, unwed, with no job prospects. I need your du’a, inshaAllah. I have bad anxiety problems from gang violence and abuse that was in my past and I am on heavy medication. My parents are Christian and are mad that I wish to get married because of my money situation. I told them I cannot have a girlfriend. They want me to have girl friends. I am feeling very sad that I will never complete half of my deen sometimes. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham I need your help please. I will do whatever you tell me. I am so frustrated I don’t know what to do. You know better then me. How can I help the pressure? I cannot fast because of my medicine. May Allah bless you and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Amin and sorry for my adab.

Ask your physician to wean you from the heavy medication little by little so you can get healthier. Keep looking for a job even part-time, Allah will provide. Sickness is transitory and you are responsible for yourself before you can have someone in your life, which will happen soon in sha Allah.
