Prayer Request:
Asalam wa aleykoum,
My husband and I got married in Islam 8 months ago; we share a beautiful life together, however he does not have papers. He is from Mali and has been living in France for 8 years. We have not undergone procedures for a civil wedding; I am 22 years old and am studying and my mother is against our union and sees him as a threat to me, although she has never met him. He has just been refused for the third time by the French government and now has an order to leave the territory. We are in the middle of a procedure to refute the government’s decision and have one month to find a strong lawyer to defend him free of charge, as well as any new elements which could strengthen his position. Mawlana, we go to zikhr every week and pray all the time. What du’as can we do, what can we do so that he can obtain a citizenship? We are in desperate need of help, advice, and especially du’as, inch’Allah. He is a good, honest man, with a strong sense of responsibility and duty. He is very kind and generous and deserves to be free. Inch’Allah with Allah’s support help will come through.
God bless you,
Asalam wa aleykoum
