Answer:
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
Allahumma Salli ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa Alihi wa Sahbihi
As-Salamu Alaikum,
It is unfortunate that you have experienced this. But you should know that your efforts are not lost because Allah has written for you countless blessings for each step you made towards knowledge and insha’Allah you will be rewarded many times more for the injustice you’ve received at the hands of those who professed knowledge. It is unfortunate that those who possess knowledge could use it to their advantage at the expense of others. Imam al-Ghazali (and others) warned about this in his Ihya when he described corrupt scholars. It’s possible the ones who’ve wronged you, possessed some of those characteristics .
As far as your healing, insha-Allah that can come with good association and connection. But first, you must separate yourself from them and find a sincere friend (or a group), a rafiq, with similar intentions in order for you both to support each other. Steel sharpens steel.
And your connection should be always with the Shaykh; that is to follow his directives as a way of safe guidance. Mawlana can teach you in many ways sitting in his association, through dreams, and inspirations. So it is important to always be connected. And if distance is a problem, connect your heart with him when you read his books or listen to his lectures online at Sufism and Tasawwuf – Naqshbandi Sufi Way .
And Allah knows best
Ismaeel Dhul-Qarnayn
