Assalamualaikum,
I would like to request Shaykh to do ishtikhara on my behalf. My name is [private] and the boys name is [private] He as well as I have done ishtikhara, however my ishtikhara came out good and his bad. We’ve separated, and I’ve made dua to forget him if it’s not meant to be or keep him in my heart if in His Divine Wisdom we will marry one day.
Every time I try to move on, I feel thoughts of him are forced back into my life. Normally, I would think it was in my head but my heart firmly believes it’s from Allah. I’ve experienced sakeena that said “trust Allah”, but it seems highly unlikely we’ll get back together. I perform salawat daily as well as dhikr to gain clarity but I’m still mixed up. Jazakallah for all your help.

Alaykum Salam,
Istikhara is good but the hearts are in the hand of Allah and He moves them as He wishes. Allah will provide, but not necessarily what we plan.
