Difference in background or race might pose a challenge but with Allah all things are easy. Let your successful marriage be built on trust and love toward your parents who only want your happiness. Let them meet with your prospect so that they will give their blessing even if reluctant at first. In sha Allah they will accept him for your sake even if it takes them more time.
