Question:
As-salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatahu,
I am trying to learn Arabic, as I heard Mawlana Shaykh Nazim say we should. I have done very well so far, but find it almost impossible to memorize. For example, we have a table of the ten verb forms that I read every night but I can’t seem to fix it in my head. It remains ‘fluid’ and escapes if I leave it for a day or two.
I generally have trouble with keeping the world ‘concrete’ anyway, but is there anything you can advise?
May Allah’s rewards to you be according to His Generosity. Amin.
Answer:
wa `alaykum salam,
Try to keep wudu‘ at all times and read Surat Tabarak (Surat al-Mulk) before sleep.
