Question:
asalamu alaykum sheikh,
I have heard from a freind, that the Holy Messenger Salala hu aleyhi wasallam, are closer to us then our souls or lives. Now i totaly beleive this, as I’m from ahlesunnath wal jamaah, but for others i wanted to know firstly is this an ayah from Quran or hadith shareef, and have i said it correctly?

wa `alaykum salam,
{The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers.} (Al-Ahzab, 33:6)
