Many Hadith experts have called Hafs ibn Sulayman untrustworthy and some have called him a liar. Is this true? Should we learn Quran from someone unreliable in Hadith? Is Hafs trusted in Quran?

Hafs b. Sulayman al-Asadi was “firmly trustworthy in Quranic reading, weak in hadith and truthful in himself” (al-Dhahabi).
