Alhamdulillah, thank you for being here, for being a blessed source of inspiration, determination & hope. I wish to learn the Quranic language and to be able to read the Quran. I’m afraid that I’m unable to find the one to learn from whom I trust. Most places/people offering such classes are commercial in their methods. I attended some but stopped because I became the “highlight” of the class for being too slow as I have to juggle with being a single parent to 5 children. I cannot afford to send each of us to a class, I’m growing older, embarrassed & worried. Please dear Shaykhs, I wish to request for a dua‘ to ease our learning & to find a wonderful guide. Are there special practices or secrets to learning how to read the Quran that you can share.

Alaikumsalam,
Make intention that you want to learn Qur’an for the sake of Allah without any obstacle. Pray salatul sunnah Duha 2 to 8 raka’at every day and recite Allah’s Name Ya ‘Aleem 100 times after salat with intention and du’a. May Allah give you a wonderful teacher to guide you and your children Insha Allah.
