Surat al-A’raf begins Alif Laam Mim Saad.
A question from a new mureed. Asked to know what is the short meaning of Alif Laam Mim Saad?
I heard Mawlana explained the first three as Allah, Sayedina Jibrail (a) and Sayedina Muhammad (s)…but can’t recall what Mawlana said about the last letter (Saad).
