Salaam,
I have always wondered why, that whenever I perform Salat al-Istikharah, I never feel satisfied about the matter at hand. I never see a dream, or anything. I understand that Istikharah can be a means of help, an opening or an unveiling from Allah (jwa) and that you don’t have to see a dream as such. There are also many methods that are used by people, I have used several including those from the Sunnah. Yet why is this happening? What can Istikharah be used for?

When you consult someone they often reply with advice. Allah Most High
is quicker to advise but we tend to be impatient or inattentive.
