Am I forgotten?

Question:

Bismi Allah

Dear respected Shayukh,

I took online baya on March 26 this year alhamdu’li’Allah. I am very thankful that Allah (swt) has lead me to this tariqa. I found a group of people in my hometown, and they are Sufi from Turkey. I have been told by a mureed from them, that there is no such thing as online baya and that I need a vekil (Turkish word) to go through in order to make baya with any Shaykh.

My question is: I took online baya and also filled out the form, but apart from two dreams I have had of Shaykh Hisham, I have heard nothing. Has my baya “gone lost”? I am very worried about not connecting.

Barak Allah feekoum for your time and effort.

Answer:

wa ‘alaykum salam,

They are incorrect in saying online baya` is not valid. Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani has authorized online baya` so it is accepted by him, period. Your dreams of Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani are one indication of that.

Don’t worry, be patient and insha-Allah you should receive instructions soon for what you must do of awrad (recitations) and so forth.
