I live in India and I am very much confused about which sect is correct. In India there are two groups – Barelvi and Deobandi. The beleifs of Barelvi:
1) Celebrating Milad is permissible and encouraged.
2) Prophet(pbuh) is Noor as well as Bashar.
3)Prophet(pbuh) has Ilm a ghaib as grated by Allah.
4)Prophet(pbuh) is Hazir Nazir i.e. he is alive in his grave and can witness the whole world as if he is seeing his palm. he can go anywhere in this world by will of Allah and can be present in more than one place at the same time. Also he can hear the voice from near and far.
5) We can supplicate to Allah by using waseela of Nabi(pbuh) or awliya of Allah.
6) We can go to graves of Nabi(pbuh) and Awliya and ask them to do dua for us.
are these beliefs correct?
