Question:
AsalamuAlaykum wa Rahmatullahi wabarakatu,
How does one know if the Naqshbandi tariqa, or any tariqa is right for him, and who one should take as his shaykh?

Answer:
Wa`alaykumussalam
Make du’a to Allah Almighty that He shows you the right way. Keep
sincerity in your heart, and then the Shaykh shall locate you. Then he
shall gaze into your heart and pull you with his power of attraction.
So it’s not about you finding a Tariqah. In reality, the Murshid pulls
you. So pray to Allah that you shall always be under his wings.
