Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani has explained from Grandshaykh `Abdullah al-Fa’iz ad-Daghestani (q) that the easiest way to make rabitah is to direct one’s heart either to Ka`abat al-musharrafah or to the Rawdat al-mutahharah (grave of the Prophet [s]). Making rabitah to the Shaykh is also valid, but these two ways are very easy.
