Local ‘Pir’ and certain practices

Question:

There is a Peer/saint in a nearby city (stoke on Trent). He charges £50/6 mins. good natured man. However, his taweez are not in words but are scribbles not in any legible form which he then instructs to put in the ground or on a tree. He instructs ppl to light a flame and if this flame goes out it has a certain meaning. On urs day he does
Not get up to pray. I asked him about marriage and he said it was ok, then my parents went back to him and he told them now it’s not ok after ‘thorough’ checking. I’m concerned he may be using jinn. But he does sit there with an open Quran. He also says if you put a coin in this ‘wishing well’ it should hit the metal grid and then you will have either a green or red dream. Please advise?
