Question:
Salam I currently hear voices in my head. I can’t help but communicate with them and they talk about prophet Mohammed,Mahdi, Nature of God and the end of the world. Even though they inflict emotional pain by saying I have a husband, and physical pains like toothache. They say they mediate to God to ask for things yet they inflict pain for some reason they dont say. They don’t tell me everything that’s going on, but they predict my future sometimes . Are they good or bad. They also prevent me form praying saying that it gets Allah angry because of the way they are communicating to me, but they let me ask God whatever I want. I said Suratul Falaq and Nas for a long time but nothing happened. Please what should I do? Besides I have been trying reach an Imam from mekkah. Massalam
Answer:
Any voices that tell you not to pray, even if they talk about the Prophet (s) and Imam Mahdi (as) cannot be good because it is against the holy Shari`ah of Allah. When the voice comes, say a`udhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem 3x and blow over your left shoulder to make it go away. Insha-Allah it will stop.
