Non-Muslim ladies being forced to wear hijab

Question:

Salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barkartu.

When non-Muslim ladies visit a masjid and go where were supposed to pray are they expected to wear a hijab? If they don’t is it considered disrespecting the masjid?

Answer:

Walaikumussalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Masjid is the House of Allah. Proper adab (manners) is required to enter the masjid. One has to be clean of any hadath (impurity), remove shoes and wear hijab whether Muslim or non-Muslim.
