In 1996 I took bay’ah with Shaykh Nazim. Due to how I was treated by senior mureeds in a negative way, I was discouraged. I left the tariqa and went to other shaykhs. Later on, I came back to the tariqa. I renewed bay’ah with Sh. Hisham. For years I have tried to connect with Moulana and I did the awrad. I never felt a connection from the shaykh. Even though I love Moulana, it feels, the shaykh might not care for me. He doesn’t come to me in my dreams. Should I look for another shaykh? I’ve tried connecting with the Moulana for years. But nothing happened. Forgive me. I don’t mean to be rude, but I am frustrated. Please give me a detailed advice on what to do. salams.
