Asalamu Alaikum Dear Respected Shuyookh,
I did online bayah with Maulana Shaykh Nazim a few years ago. However Due to travel issues I was never able to travel and see Maulana before his passing and renew my bayah. There are no local Naqshbandi gatherings for sisters either, and sometimes I feel very distant from tariqah. I do however attend a Balawi mawlid/dhikr gathering every Thursday which are locally held. Alhumdulilah I feel a lot of Barakah and connected in these gatherings when I do attend. Do I have to obtain permission to do Bayah with Habib Umar. Please forgive me for my bad adab.

You may take baya` tabarruk (for blessings) but not baya` of irshad (guidance), and Allah knows best. Your full baya` is still to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani and does not need to be renewed.
