Question:
salam alaikum ya Syedi .
Syedi when I was not practicing Islam I did many wrong things, but there is one thing which has been on my mind and I just want an answer.
Ya Syedi once some non-believing person dressed with a beard and robe was “taking the mick out of” [making fun of] Prophet Esa a.s. I laughed Astagfirullah, not with him but at him. But I regreted what I had done and this was a few years ago. I read in a hadith that A’li ibn Abi Talib reported that Nabi (saw) said “Whoever curses a prophet kill him. Whoever curses my companions beat him.” (TABARAANI, DARAQUTNI)
I repent everyday and can’t go 2 sleep. I just want to know, shall I just kill my self.
How do I know if my repentence is accepted.
