Asallam Aleykum
One morning after just getting out of bed ,I saw a bright light approaching from inside my right eye. I felt certain it was the Prophet (s) appearing to me but I suddenly felt ashamed because I was sitting on the toilet at the time–and then the light faded away.
I have always felt a little bit bitter about this because it happened at such an inopportune time.
Can you tell me if this was indeed the Prophet (s) and if so why would he be appearing at such a moment?
Also, do I need to make a penance?

Is the good `amal (deeds) trying to throw out the bad `amal. Make salawat on Prophet (s) you will succeed.
