Asalamualaikum wrwb, May Allah Bless Sheikh Nazim and all his Followers.
1)In a lecture MSH spoke about the importance knowing the spiritual and physical lineage or a person would be lost as he cant take baya with anybody, I don’t know either and have taken baya with Sheikh Nazim.
2)Regarding the disbelievers burning in hell forever, in light of the Tradition that Allah states that his mercy overcomes his Wrath. This is also mentioned my Moulana Rumi in Fihi Ma Fihi that faith will increase in hell as there will be no one to turn to except Allah(SWT). And could be they will not be disbelievers anymore after the torment and hence will be exempted from confinement of the Quranic verses? Is there any hope?

1) What is meant is Mawlana’s spiritual and physical lineage is well-known if someone inquires. The danger is when someone comes out of the blue who has no such lineage but yet claims to have it.
2) The proverb goes that “Hellfire is paved with good intentions” and this reality is mentioned in the Qur’an: {Could you but see when the guilty hang their heads before their Lord, (and say): Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back; we will do right, now we are sure} (32:12). But this does not amount to true repentance. Furthermore, as the commentaries said regarding the relevant verses, eternal punishment is eternal because Allah Most High knows that if he allowed them to go back and live a million years more or live eternally, they would eventually disbelieve for a million years more or disbelieve eternally. And Allah knows best.
