Swedish Arab Murids

Question:

Salam Alekum Mawlana,
We are Swedish/Arab murids. Our most important concern is the emotional and spiritual welfare of our children. Panicking due to the deteriorating situation in the world. Alhamdullilah we have no resources so we cannot afford to buy houses. Paying for schools is beyond our means. We are asking you to please pray for us, advise us what path to take. Should we relocate to a Muslim country, leave work and studies behind? Faith is affected due to the lack of association with other murids and mashayekh. We have intentions to lead a simple self-sufficient life away from big cities, but its tough decision due to financial difficulties. Alhamdullah Allah SWT is the Provider but should one make decisions without being sure of how one will provide for family in the future? We ask for your advice.

Answer:

Alaykum as-Salam,
Find other Murids as weekly or monthly dhikr will help achieve your concern whether in the city or outside, even if you need to travel there by car from time to time. Try to find a good government school if private is unaffordable. Renting is fine if you cannot own your own house. Muslim countries are not automatically lands of opportunities if you have already prepared a living for yourselves, so it is better to build on the basis you already have unless you have a solid offer elsewhere. One can never be sure 100% and that is the meaning of trust in Allah Most High and reliance on His good care.
