My question was regarding Istikhara namaaz. Can Istikhara be done for past events or only future events? Also there are many methods of Istikhara like opening the Quran, Tasbih, Surah Mulk, surah Naas, Surah Nasr and the method taught by the Prophet (SAW) which is the best most effective method?
