Salam alaykum
Yes it is guaranteed to work if one’s sustenance and income are halal, but it works in the modality Allah decides. You must use it at all times. Perform daily Salat and read the Fatiha (first chapter of Qur’an) up to 40 times a day and you will see goodness insha-Allah.
