Question:
As salamualaikum Sheikh Hisham. My name is [private] from [private]. I have been following your videos and updates lately.
A little bit of my past. I have a friend who happened to be a son of a Sheikh, whom I discovered in the later years. I have known them since I was very young. My friend and I were very close with each other and at the same time, I was shared about sufism and some mystical and heavenly stories amongst ourselves. I had never had a chance to be in any of Sheikh’s sessions as none of the sons had the guts to bring me along. But I would always want to be around his children to get to know more of the stories and secrets being shared among them. I even had chances to meet some wali’s along the way.
The way you are having your sessions, reminds me of a Sheikh, whom had passed away for a few years now. Since then, I felt lonely and had been searching for someone who could be a guide for me. But I am worried to do that too. The reason is because, I do not want to have two masters and hurt my Sheikh. I am self declaring that I am his mureed. I am still waiting for something or someone to come along.
Recently, there was an occasion after listening to one of your video sessions, as I closed my eyes, I saw you, Sheikh Hisham, looking towards your left. What was obvious was your right eye. You were pointing to it and your eye seems bulging out. I have no idea what it meant.
I am writing to seek advice from you of what should I do next. Thank you, Sir.
Answer:
wa alaykum salam,
May Allah bless you. You must have take a Shaykh if you are not able to connect via your heart to your deceased Shaykh. You may take initiation online at Naqshbandi.org if you wish.
Seeing Shaykh Hisham pointing to his right eye means he is looking at you because he sees you are destined to be a mureed.
