Permission to move

Question:

Asalam Alaykum,
We have 3 young children and live in a small town. There is a group of “sufis” here but we havent gelled with them because we have different beliefs. We cannot join in any of the zikrs/events here because of their increasing hostility towards us (even when we see them in the street).
We also find this town particularly anti religious possibly because many people are into the new age. Neighbour problems are also increasing- we think they have again vandalised our car. We would like to move away and find a place with a bit of land (maybe Wales) where we could have animals and have a better environment to bring the children up in. Please could we have permission to move or some advice. (my husband has also asked this qusetion today as we feel quite desperate).
Thank you

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani always says do not make a move until you have some means of support. So perhaps your husband can begin looking for work and once that works out you can make a move.
