I’m asking on behalf of someone close to me who would like to know, who has very regular and long menstrual cycles.
As is Islamically known, a woman does not fast/pray on her period. However, this lady sees her period for 10 days each time, if it passes the ten days she starts praying. But when her cycle is finished and she is clean again it is only 10-14 days of being clean and then she sees it again. She has heard that she should be praying for at least 14 days, so if she sees her period again after only ten days of being clean, should she continue praying, until it has been a full 14 days? And then stop for the rest of the period?

If the period goes on for more than 15 days spotting then every prayer make fresh wudu each time and pray.
