I have been divorced and then remarried again then divorce. I want to go back to my first husband. I have done istakhara twice and it has turned out good but I have not been able to convince my first husband for remarrying. His mom is also trying her best. I have been doing wafiza and dua hajat everyday. It’s been almost one year. I was doing two wafizas at the same time but then I read that you can’t. I was reading Allahumma layyin qalbi fulan ibne fulan kama layyintal hadida li syedina Da’ud alayhis ‘salam,’ which I stopped and now doing a wafiza for 21 days Ya Sameu Ya Latifu 110 times followed by Surah Baqra ayat 117 also 110 times. Please help me if I’m doing the right thing because I do love him very much and want him back in my life.
Answer:
You are doing the right thing and should accept in your heart whatever Allah Most High has decreed for you in this matter once its time-frame ends. Write him and ask him to at least consider seeing you again and that you will accept his final decision by Eid and move on if no. Focus on Ramadan and inshaAllah a heavenly gift will come your way with patience.
