Assalamualaikum,
What is the significance of the Prophet (saw) choosing the cup of milk rather than the cup of wine when Gibril (as) offered him( saw). I’m thinking obviously the Prophet(saw) will choose the milk for obvious reasons. But what is the wisdom behind Gibril(as)’s reaction? Could you explain the behind this incident in general as well? Why was he offered 2 cups like that? Thank you.
