Need for permissions in a tariqah

Question:

Salam
whilst reviewing the site for answers and you find what you are looking for, are the answers only specific for the person asking the question?; Ie those answers involving reading a salawat/dua/wird or advice on a practice is given can any reader follow the advice or do you need separate permission.

Similarly, if a practice is attributed to the shayhks on other sites eg http://higherstations.wordpress.com/2010/01/26/salawat-tafrijiyah-salawat-nariyah/ do you have to obtain separate permission to recite/practice?

If you a mureed can you partake in any naqshabandi practice?

Can I recite the salawat for fear of intimacy given on the site?, please provide an effective remedy for this.

jazakallah khair

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

wa `alaykum salam,

Shaykh Hisham has said many times that if a particular question on eshaykh.com coincides with your problem, then that answer coincides as well. Generally use any advice that is applicable to your situation.

For information on Salat Nariyya, see the answer in this post reviewed and approved by Shaykh Hisham Kabbani.
