Question:
Asalam alaikum,
Some years ago I went to have a short nap, this was just before we were going to hold zikr. While sleeping, I had a dream in which I felt my soul was soaring (while reciting durood I believe), I felt as though I was very high up, I carried on until I saw ‘myself’, it was a very strange moment.
The other person I saw (me?) was in a large, beautiful room, it felt like Jannah, I was relaxing on a bed, I remember 2 people (I think women) standing on each side, this person (myself?) was surprised that I had reached there, I remember myself, or my duplicate looking down on me, I woke up shortly after this and found myself reciting durood shareef.
Would you be able to shed any light on this matter.

This other ‘you’ in Paradise is your spiritual reality, or zawj. You encountered your real self on the ‘other side’. Alhamdulillah that is a very blessed experience, treasure it and know it is good tidings of Paradise in-sha-Allah. Keep the two important women in your life your mother and your wife, they are keeping you and Allah knows best.
