Left Mawlana but now I’m back

Question:

I was part of Naqshbandi Haqqani Tariqa around 2 years ago, but then for some reason I did not think that it was good (due to looking at other members of the Tariqa etc.), and I did not understand stuff like rabitah. Then I stopped all the practices and awrad etc…

But I am returning as it is good for my roohaniyat, righteousness, spirituality, and discipline..

Also, I remember reading that although the mureeds may give up on the Shaykh, the Shaykh doesn’t give up on the mureeds, is this true? What do you advise? Shall I just carry on as normal?

How can I get the feeling back that I am included with this Tariqah?

BismillahirRahmanirRahim:

Wa sallallahu ala Muhammad wa ala alihi.

Salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah,

It is true what you said, that the Shaykh does not leave the student though the student may wander. Yes, carry on and rebuild the relationship with the Shaykh from your side, begin back with your Daily wird and listening to the teachings of the Shaykh.

May Allah make it easy for you,

Kamau Ayubbi
