Assalamualaikum,
I recited baya with Mawlana Shaykh Hisham a year ago when he was in my country. I must admit that at that point of time, I was not sure if I should join the tariqah. Therefore I did not practice the awrad not attend the weekly khatm sessions. But now I have learned and read more about this blessed tariqah and have begun the daily awrad and am now attending the weekly khatm. My question is, is my baya which I took with Sh. Hisham a year ago valid?
