Question:
Dear Shaykh,
Assalamu alaykum. I’m a murid of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and wish to do the dua of Hazrat Dawud as has been described on this site before. My question is that after we tie the ta’wiz on our shoulder, do we still have to recite the verse and dua every night or do we only recite it the first Thursday and then tie the ta’wiz. Is it true we keep the ta’wiz for 40 days? I guess I should ask for permission too (preferably from Shaykh Hisham). There’s this girl I like at work that I wish to use it for.
(2) my second question is I would like permission to recite qasida ghawthiyyah of our Leigelord Shaykh Abdal Qadir Jilani (q).

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani has already given permission for people who intend marriage, so there is no need for everyone to ask. See here.
