I love a guy since 6 yrs but now he has turned down his promise of marriage. 4 years back I had performed isthikaara with respect to the guy right for me and also prayed to Allah to show signs whether my love would be successful, only then would I contiue. I got positive signs as of that too. My isthikaara also showed green colors in my dreams and since then, my love for him has strengthen more. I started firmly believing that we are destined to be together someday In sha allah. I would like to know that
1) Is dua a Dawood (A.S) a spell (maafi if I am wrong, I just read it on some website)?
2) Is it alright if I just read the dua 101 times everyday without involving the process of fasting and taweez wearing in the night?
3) I ask for permission.

2) Yes, that is another method of doing it.
