Question:
While I was driving car, suddenly a cat came across and i was unable to save it. It got hurt severely and i was sure that it was died. Is it a sin to kill a cat in Islam? I was of no such intention. Please clarify me.
Answer:
As Imam Senad said in a previous post about a similar situation, “Don’t worry, you are not at fault. Don’t feel guilty as it was not your intention [i.e. to kill the cat]…. Actions are according to intention.”
