Salaam to all at eShaykh & beloved Shaykh Nazim
Living in the UK we are surrounded by big name companies- one example is Starbucks – who a lot of muslims say we should boycott aswell as countless other products/companies. There are so many products which we are told to boycott as they have links to Israel. It feels impossible to know really what to stay away from especially as so many companies in the UK were founded by Jews and Zionists etc. Also, will us boycotting these companies which have links with Israel really make any difference to the unfortunate brothers and sisters in Palestine?
Could you kindly inform me as to what (if any) if the Sufi perspective on this and any advice regarding products we should stay away from?

Our mashaykh teach us our job is clear: pray for the appearance of Sayyidina al-Mahdi (as) who will come to eliminate oppression, establish true peace and justice everywhere. Leave all groups and factions whose aims and intentions are murky to unknown. If you want to protest, as Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani said, protest your own bad ego and fight it.
