Assalamu Alaikum,
I would like to know whether Salat al-Fatih has been composed by Hadrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA)? A Tijaniyya Order member said that a man named Sayyidi Bekri went into khalwa for 40 years, asking Allah to give him the best Salatul-ala Nabiyya. It was written on the wall in light and he was told not to give it to others until the owner of it appeared.
Therefore I have a slight confusion, who composed it? If Hadrat Ali (RA)composed it, kindly give the books references. Or it will be highly appreciated if you could provide the actual words of Hadrat Ali (RA).
